2022 a tricky year 2023 exciting times ahead

When I reflect on 2022, what a year it has been.
The focus in the headlines has been the Bank of England base rate rising nine times, and along side the current cost of living crisis it has been a worrying time for many households.
But, against those concerns, the stand out achievement for me is being able to help so many people get their finances in line and more importantly, protecting them from life's "what ifs" whether that be through life insurance, income protection or putting a Will in place.
My focus for 2023 is to continue to help my clients with their financial planning whether that be buying their first house, building their property portfolio, reviewing any current protection policies they have in place to ensure they are fit for purpose and in Trust, and protecting their income should they lose their income due to an accident or long term sickness.
A massive thank you to the business development managers at the lenders and insurers who are a constant support. Without them our job wouldn't be possible.
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and here is to 2023 - the year of sound financial planning
