How to avoid Direct Debit Madness
Posted on 27th March 2023 at 16:43
The economic state we are currently in is a concern for all, and for many people this is all they can think about.
How to get out of it, how to make this worry stop, what should I do?
These are the times we need to reflect on what is important and to ensure that our money is truly spreading out as much as it can.
Quite often we assess our monthly expenditure and jump straight to cancelling our direct debits without a second thought, saving that monthly premium is a need and this must be the only way...surely? Before we know it we have cancelled the most crucial direct debits we have in place.
What if I told you there was another way to do this? By taking a moment to truly assess our needs and find a way to keep the pleasures we have, keep the protection in place while also saving money for our family.
As your financial consultant, we can work together to ensure you are saving the pennies where you can while still remaining in the best position possible.
Cancelling direct debits is the first action a lot of people take, without considering the repercussions of that action. But that can have costly consequences, including that the new cost of re-instating that product will probably be at potentially much higher new rates.
By having a conversation we can work together to assess your needs and ensure you are on the right path getting the services and products you need, at the most affordable prices while also ensuring you and your family remain protected.
A lot can change since you originally signed up to your credit commitments. But are you using every benefit that product offers you? If not, we could look to reduce the benefits to ensure you are only paying for what you truly need.
This all starts with one conversation, it could save you the pounds you need!
