supporting Essex and Herts Air Ambulance June 2020

Thank you to the Brokers and Staff who continue to highlight and promote the fantastic emergency services provided by the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust (EHAAT).
H D Consultants chose EHAAT as our 2020 Charity of the Year, and we set ourselves a target to donate £2,200 by the end of the year.
This month, we have handed over another donation to EHAAT of £742, taking the total now handed over by H D Consultants so far this year, to £1,492, 67.8% of our annual target!
Why EHAAT? EHAAT's aim is to save lives, reduce or prevent disability, or suffering from critical illness and injury, by delivering a first class pre-hospital emergency medical service to the people of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.
Some key stats;
Each mission costs over £2,200
EHAAT treats on average 1,000 patients each year
The Critical Care Team are dispatched 6 times per day
.... and, one of our own team members, a Colchester based mortgage broker, was involved in a serious car crash, and he says he owes his life to the EHAAT first responders who attended the scene.
A wonderful charity, dependant on donations and not government funded.
How are we collecting donations?
As mortgage brokers, we require credit reports from our Clients for their mortgage application cases. If a FREE multi-reference agency credit report (one document, which includes a combined report from Equifax, Experian and also Transunion) is downloaded via www.checkmycreditfile.co.uk , we receive a small commission. H D Consultants has made the decision to hand over 100% of all commissions to EHAAT throughout 2020.
